This page sets out Ekam's standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), and how anyone can report it to us. It applies to the Ekam Android app (com.rootlex.ekamapp) and to this website, both operated by Rootlex Technologies, India.
Zero tolerance. Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any content or conduct that sexualises, exploits or endangers a minor is absolutely prohibited on Ekam. There is no warning, no strike system and no appeal on the first instance: accounts are terminated and reports are made to the authorities.
Ekam prohibits, without exception:
Ekam's devotional video feed is not user-generated. Every video is ingested from curated devotional sources and reviewed by our team before it can appear. The parts of Ekam a user can write to are comments and their own display name and profile photo, and those are what these standards principally govern.
In the app: every comment has a report control. Reports reach our moderation queue immediately.
By email: write to ekam-support@rootlex.com with the subject CHILD SAFETY. Include a link or screenshot and the username if you have it. Reports of CSAE are prioritised above all other support mail.
You do not need an Ekam account to report to us, and you may report anonymously.
Please do not download, save or forward suspected CSAM, including to us — possessing or transmitting it is a criminal offence in India and in most jurisdictions. Send us the link, the username or a description instead.
Ekam is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly allow anyone under 13 to create an account. If you believe a child is using Ekam, tell us at ekam-support@rootlex.com and we will remove the account and its data.
These standards are published to meet Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy and are consistent with our obligations under Indian law, including the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules made under it. Nothing here limits any obligation we have under applicable law.
